The B850 monitors have a box mounted on the side of the machine.
Ignore the two serial ports and the ePort on the back of this monitor. These will NOT work.
You can download from these machines by plugging an ATEN USB to serial converter into USB port 4, and then plugging your serial to USB converter into the ATEN cable.
These monitors will stop sending serial transmissions completely if they get a bad serial transmission. The only way to restart transmission is to restart the box. To do this you need to turn the power switch off and on at the back of the box. Restarting the monitor itself will make no difference.
